As of today....$41,378 in 14 months. Debt GONE forever!!

Such an awesome day for us. Getting married in May 2018 & then being introduced to Dave Ramsey’s Finanical Peace University soon after was one of the best things we could have ever done for our marriage & our future. I remember the day my eyes were opened and I admitted aloud how selfish I was with my money & for thinking my husband’s debt wasn’t my debt nor my problem. 😞 God knew exactly what and who we needed in our lives at that time so we could really grow in our marriage without the burdens of debt surrounding us. •

Was it easy? No. Was it unbearable? Also, no. It was learning to sacrifice & live within our means.
We paid off credit cards, medical bills, a vehicle & all student loans in 14 months. I’ve still shopped, we still went out to eat (nothing can take that from us 😂), we still went out with friends & we still enjoyed life... but we didn’t put ourselves into debt either. •

This is definitely not to boast, because I knew veryyy little about how to handle finances 14 months ago!! I thought that if I had it...I could spend it. 🤦🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️ I post because I reallllly just want to scream it from the rooftops...anyone can follow Dave’s baby steps & live a life of financial freedom! We would LOVE to help anyone in their debt free journey who needs some direction! •
