We finally did it! $78,725.70 PAID OFF!

If you know us, my husband plans for our future and I’m the one that plans to do everything and anything right now. I wasn’t on board at first and then I saw how much more we can do for our future, for our family. Since the day we got married, we got serious on planning for our future - saying no and tackling all of our debts.
Between my husband and I, working 2 full time jobs, plus my husband working his side gig at McDonalds, living off of one paycheck, budgeting for every dollar, cutting down on going out to eat, meal prepping, canceled gym memberships & turned our garage into a gym (we budgeted for that), all bonuses went to paying off debt, canceled all cell phone insurance, bought-out our phones instead of leasing it, and canceled cable. You name it, we budget for it all - my husband currently in school for his MBA (cash flowing), our annual family vacation, and despite having to take a slight paused in our baby steps, as we welcomed the newest addition to our family. We live within our means and evicted Sallie Mae from our home at the same time!

Our end goal came down to crushing $39,147 in car loan, cutting up $12,232 in credit card debt (plasectomy 💳✂️), eliminating $8,573 in personal loan, and kicking Sallie Mae to the curb with a $18,746.70 student loan eliminated- NO MORE DEBT! On to Baby Step 3!
