We’re debt free!

Hannah and I discussed our finances often while we were engaged. We both knew that we were bringing in a large portion of student loan debt into our marriage - $53,311 to be exact...
We spoke about our goals and dreams that we wanted to achieve as a family. We knew that if we didn’t create a plan for our debt then accomplishing any of those dreams would not be obtainable. 
I was first introduced to Dave Ramsey by my uncle. He gifted his Total Money Makeover book to me as a college graduation gift (if only I knew about him before college). I read it in two days, and I can barely even read! 
We decided to start this debt free journey together once we came back from our honeymoon. Over the past 13 months learning to say “no” was by far the most difficult thing for us. We sacrificed a lot for our first year of marriage, but knowing our “Why” kept us going. It’s not fun paying off debt, but it’s all worth it. 
The reason we decided to share our story was to inspire and motivate others who may be on the same journey. Rely on your Why!
