WE’RE DEBT FREE!!!

For almost 9 years we have felt broke, felt like we were sacrificing and getting no where, felt like the odd ones out with no money to do all the fun things our friends were doing and we got sick of it! So, for the last 6 months we have been broke on purpose! We wanted to be debt free by Christmas and we smashed that goal 4 months early!! We started our debt free journey on Friday, February 1st with $30,308.17 in debt (whoah!) and made our final debt payment on Friday, August 2nd and WOW did that feel AMAZING! .

I am so grateful for daveramsey and his teachings, because he led us on a journey to live like no one else. His program pushed us to see the world differently and we will never look back. .

Thank you to my phenomenal Husband (who was very reluctant at first) for giving it all that he had, every single day. He worked extra days in the shop, stayed late most nights (missing bedtime with our son) and side hustled almost every weekend for 6 months straight. Although I got a promotion and sold so much stuff the dog might have thought she was next, Tyler truly was the heavy lifter and has changed our future. .

Thank you to my Mom for being a wonderful caretaker for our son. Paying down debt while also paying for childcare is no joke, trust us, but I am grateful for her and for the extra room she has given us financially. .

On to Baby Step 3! .
