Debt free is the way to be!
I started this journey back in May 2018. In April of that year, I was up to my eyeballs in credit card debt. I had no savings and a $1000 traffic violation put me in a panic because I realized I had no other way to pay it other than swiping a nearly maxed out credit card. I heard about Dave Ramsey in my early 20’s and even took FPU. At that time, I didn’t think it applied to me. I guess I felt like budgeting and saving was something I could put off until my 30s. HA! How naive was I!? My projected debt pay off date was supposed to be summer of 2020, BUT GOD!
