WE’RE DEBT FREE! $58,000 in 18 months!

Wow...I’m having a hard time putting into words just how we’re feeling! My husband jpufal and I are so thankful for the guidance and assistance of daveramsey and his Financial Peace University. We got married in January of 2018 and decided that we didn’t want to be slaves to our debt. We didn’t want to be “normal”.

And I will tell you, about $55,000 of this was my student loans and $3,000 my husband’s car. My husband took on my loans like they were his. What a beautiful example of how Christ takes on our debt - not expecting anything in return, but paying for our spiritual debt because he LOVES us. What an incredible example my husband has been!!! I couldn’t ask for a better man. And we have worked HARD together since then! It has made us a stronger couple to start off our marriage in such unity and fierce dedication. It wasn’t always easy, but with God’s guidance, we came out stronger because of it!

Graduating college, I honestly thought I’d be in debt for at least 15 years. It felt impossible! But once we found a PLAN through FPU, the impossible suddenly seemed possible.

We couldn’t have done this without the encouragement from our family and friends, especially my brother and sister-in-law nickclifton64 and Katie, jenniehallpaiva and Dennis (for teaching me how to budget in godly patience), his parents, and my parents debslifetn wheresstu ! We are truly blessed. Thanks for cheering us on!
