1 year ago in our tiny little apartment we did our debt free scream. Exactly one year later to the day we are buying a house!!!!

3 years ago my life was so much different. Wasting money, shopping all the time, buying things just because I could. That all changed when I realized I couldn’t afford what I really wanted, a home.
.
It took 3 years. 3 years to pay off my car, my husbands car, and both of our student loans. We saved for an emergency fund and then for a down payment. To think that just 3 years ago we thought this day would never come it’s crazy to say it is here.
.
This journey has taught me so much. How to be grateful, patient, diligent, organized, and faithful. Finding this plan was no accident it was meant to be. I am so happy to say daveramsey, rachelcruze and all his personalities gave us the encouragement we needed. I thought debt was normal, I thought living paycheck to paycheck was normal. It’s not. It’s not what the #debtfreecommunity does. WE DO IT THE WEIRD WAY!
