We freaking did it! 
Honestly this journey has been hard; my husband and I have said no to a lot of events, hangouts and things that we wanted but didn’t need. 
There have been tears, arguments, wondering if we will ever get there and long discussions about changing our habits even more. 
I remember last September, we were newly married, and we were sitting on the couch. Both of us had no idea how in the world we were going to pay this off. 
I mean every time we made headway something would come up! 
It seemed like such a huge mountain to climb, but we were both to a point of being done with it. For Pete sakes we were living paycheck to paycheck because of this debt. 
Today, we made our final payment. I texted him, in disbelief, that we did it. we were on track to to pay this off in June this year, not March. 
We made it through. 
Now with a baby on the way, we can proudly say we have no more credit card debt! 
This is only the beginning for us, we still have school loans and car loans to tackle but we now know those can be gone quickly. 
Shout out to daveramsey for giving us the knowledge and constant support to tackle this head on. We will never go back again! 
Thank you for our friends and family for supporting us and to have never stopped inviting us even though we said “No” a ton. 
This day has felt like a dream come true. .
