Someone pinch me, because I must be dreaming. That’s right, $8500 in credit card debt, PAID IN FULL. 
Just a little bit over a year ago, I walked into Rolling Hills Church and tell Nancy Balestreri about my problem with money and how my mom and I barely talk anymore because of it. She then mentioned Financial Peace University at the church, ran by Joe Ferguson. I sign up and then she tells me about a woman who might be willing to help me, her name, Kim Sturm. 
Within a week, I meet Kim and we start to meet every week. I hear her story, and I tell her mine. Knowing nothing about each other. And this relationship starts building. So many texts, calls, and in person meetings. So many nights of me doubting that I could do this and mental/emotional breakdowns. At first only making $800 a month to then getting a new job and making double that. Selling clothes, picking up side jobs. Doing everything I can to get rid of this debt. Starting with my smallest debt to my biggest. To now, to say that I am COMPLETELY, 100% DEBT FREE. Thank you to my church for being a rock in my life and having Financial Peace University. Thank you to Joe for running this class, you have made a bigger impact in my life than you think. Thank you to my mom and sister for paying for things when you really shouldn’t, for all your patience, I love you guys so much. Lastly, thank you Kim, for literally EVERYTHING. From strangers, to friends, to two people serving on the same team. I love you so much.
