Well it’s official! We are DEBT FREE!! We paid off $41,344 in two years and 4 months (28 months). That includes a hefty student loan and medical bills from the birth of Liam. During this time, life did not stop. Birthdays, holidays, and anniversaries came and went. We have learned to delay immediate gratification in order to execute our long term goals. During these two + years, we have learned the difference between want and need. We have delayed vacations, upgrading our vehicles, buying a home and so many other things to accomplish this goal. And let me tell you, it had been WORTH every sacrifice. Our next step is to save 3-6 months worth of living expenses and then save for a down payment for a home. We are looking forward to our money being ours and not going to other people (banks). We are living proof that you don’t have to make 100k to do this. If we can do it, you can to!
