WE’RE DEBT FREE!!!! 🎉🎉 16 student loans, 8 credit cards, 2 vehicles, and 1 personal loan all paid in full! •

3 years and 7 months ago, I was in the grace period of my student loans. After doing the math, I wasn’t going to be able to afford my $433 car payment, student loans, and pay all of my bills. You see, there was no big fat pay raise after I graduated with my bachelors degree. Something had to change. I picked up a copy of The Total Money Makeover and enrolled in Financial Peace University. At the time, Josh and I were dating and he wasn’t interested in attending FPU. I kept pushing through and several months later I sold the car I was upside down on! Traction, finally! •

A year after I started, Josh asked me what I wanted for Christmas. I said I don’t want a gift, just 9 weeks of your time to go through FPU. From that point on he was fully on board! 🙌 We got engaged and paused the snowball for six months to cash flow our wedding and honeymoon. After that, it was on! Debt after debt was paid off. We’ve had some setbacks here and there but we kept pushing and never gave up. •
