10 months ago our family embarked on the craziest journey of all, our debt free journey.

After a bet between me & my husband once we realized the amount of debt we were in, we set a goal. We began listening to the famous cash guru daveramsey & decide we were sick & tired of being sick & tired. Then it all began...
.
We began living off one income & putting the other income straight to the 14K we were in debt. We sold tons of things, worked as much as we could & said “no” to a lot of things & I mean ALOT. It was not easy at all but, this Thursday we did it. It took us ten months to pay off 14K & we now owe nothing but our mortgage! 🎉
.
Why did we join the crazy train you may ask?! Well you see those two tiny humans standing in the picture with us? They mean the WORLD to us & we want to provide them with the best life possible. That meant sacrificing now so we can do that for them later.

Now we are 26 & 30 ready to tackle what’s next. Lots of love & support from our immediate family who knew we were on this journey & supported us. Along with #thedebtfreecommunity  which is truly a special place in the social media world! If you are thinking about joining the crazy people, DO IT! It is a liberating feeling to be truly in charge of your finances!
