🎉 On March 24, 2018 after 3 years, 9 months, and 24 days on our debt free journey; we ARE DEBT FREE!!! 🎉

TOTAL PAID OFF: $109,696.12 💰 
This journey is not easy, "if it were easy, everyone would do it." 💯

How did we do it? 
1️⃣ We got mad at our current situation!
2️⃣ We stopped making excuses, as to why it couldn't be done!
3️⃣ We quit playing the blame game!
4️⃣ We got on the same page!
5️⃣ We worked our plan as a team!
6️⃣ We budgeted every single month without fail!
7️⃣ We stopped adding debt to our lives!
8️⃣ We believed that we could do it!
9️⃣ We celebrated accomplishments along the way! 🔟 We started focusing on our future goals, instead living for the moment! ⏸ We stopped trying to keep up with the Joanses because they are broke!!! •

Learning to tell ourselves and others, "no" wasn't easy, but we knew we had a GOAL. That if we SACRIFICED for a few shorts years, we would be able to live life and enjoy more things we truly wanted to do in the future. •

During our 45 month journey we lived off of 1 full-time income and my part-time income for 33/45 months. For 9 months we paid not one, but TWO house payments (Florida and Washington State). Fought our Association, paid legal fees to get our Florida home sold. Brought money to closing when we sold our Florida home after paying 9 months of the mortgage on it, while paying rent in Washington state. Hired professionals to recarpet and paint our entire Florida condo before we sold it. When we relocated to Seattle, we lived off 1 full-time income for 4 months. Paused our debt snow ball for a total of 9 months to cover other expenses, so we wouldn't go back into debt. 👏🏻 •
