This sweet girl (age 9) has been saving her commission from snow shoveling for a few months now and has $30 that she will be donating to our church food bank that we volunteer at weekly! A wonderful organization is matching all donations made during March and so this will be a collaborative contribution of $60. She decided when we began using the envelope system to organize her money what she wanted to contribute to each. And her goal from the beginning was to do this.

 She has a giving, savings, and spending envelope that she puts her cash into when she earns it or is gifted. These envelopes are a great tool to teach kids about saving money and helping them reach goals that matter to them. Thankful for daveramsey and rachelcruze for sharing their wisdom in #smartmoneysmartkids and for helping us guide her toward positive money habits. 💕
