"When Mario and I discussed getting married, we decided what was most important to us," Silvia says. "Mario and I are both sentimental and we wanted our wedding to be intimate, but we also wanted to include aspects of both he and I. The 'lasso' in Latin culture represents the binding of one another in relationship, both physically and spiritually. My only remaining grandmother placed the lasso over us and blessed us."
