## Caption

Contaminated clothing of methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) carriers is a potential source of transmission.

A recent study published in the American Journal of Infection Control by Dr. Curtis Donskey et.al. found that MRSA was recovered from the clothing of 74% of MRSA carriers enrolled in the study.  The authors conclude that measures to reduce clothing contamination should be investigated as a potential means to reduce MRSA transmission in healthcare settings.
