Photo by mattiasklumofficial | I took this photograph on assignment in the Republic of Congo, lying in a swamp inches away from this beauty. My job as a photographer and filmmaker is not always easy, but it's given me a dynamic and rarely uneventful life. I've also been fortunate enough to work with skilled colleagues. In this case, with the highly venomous and extremely rare water cobra, I wouldn’t have managed so well without the assistance of Samuel (my camera assistant at the time) and herpetologist Zoltán Takács. We are better for the help and support we get.
