Photo by mattiasklumofficial / A silhouetted Geoffroy's spider monkey, in the rainforest of Costa Rica's Osa Peninsula. This amazing and endangered primate ranges from Mexico to Panama. This is the largest of the Costa Rica monkeys, with males averaging 8.2 kg (18 lb) and females averaging 7.7 kg (17 lb).
