In Mandeville, Louisiana, Ana Maria Perdigao and her children Nicolas (11) and Isaac (8) are seen in their living room, which has a fantastic view of one of the state's quintessential swamps. Joseph Perdigao, the husband of Ana Maria, who is not pictured, said, "I bought this skull three weeks ago. It’s actually a birthday present that I gave to myself. I wanted to buy something beautiful to keep in our living room. I was looking on [the] internet for something connected to natural history, one of my big passions, and I found the website of a company specialized in finding, restoring, and selling dinosaurs fossils. I didn't know until that moment that I could buy a real fossil of [a] dinosaur or a cast of it. I immediately understood that that was exactly what I wanted for my house. So I bought this cast of Triceratops. I didn't say anything to my family until the dinosaur got here. They were positively shocked to see it when they came back home.” #dinosaur #dino #triceratops
