🎨 1. Cryptic Transmissions
Represents the spread of viral particles in a population through contact networks & cryptic transmissions. As #pathogens with different epidemiological parameters move through the population, an increase in contacts results in more #infection & spread.

🎨 2. Global City
 This visualizes a concept for a global city with famous landmarks from around the world. It is a comment on how globalization results in an increase in the spread of #viruses throughout the population. 

🎨 3. Contact Bubble Networks
This analogy represents contact networks as bubbles that leak viral particles. It describes how contact networks are not as small as they are perceived, and #viruses can be spread unknowingly outside of the bubble.

🧑‍🎨 elainalewis_ is a Senior at iubloomington majoring in Biochemistry and minoring in Studio Art. Through #VI4AiR, she's been able to apply her artistic passion to real research and see the impact she can have on #scicomm!
