## Caption

jeffjacksonnc visited NC State’s campus today. He is one of the Democratic candidates for the US Senate seat in next year’s election, the primaries of which are this coming spring. He addressed many questions and concerns relating to pressing political struggles such as healthcare, climate change, student debt, and the coming Supreme Court ruling on the Texas abortion law. Overall his message of running a 100 county campaign was emphasized and he voiced his opinion on what he sees as an addiction to anger in politics. 

I asked him about how he will keep an NC focused approach with real change in an issue like climate change, and also got him to wish my mom a happy birthday! (Last slide)
