Meet Kyle Robb '24 and Anson Tan '23 from our junior cohort. Kyle is an accounting major and computer science minor student. Anson is a finance and business analytics double major student with a certificate of accounting at Berkeley. This summer, they had the opportunity to start an audit and assurance intern at Deloitte. 

"As an audit & assurance intern at Deloitte, I support my engagement team in assessing risk and conducting year-end and Q2 audits for public real estate and financial service companies. My tasks include updating and rolling over confidential forms and memos, navigating through Deloitte's audit applications, and writing investor analysis reports for management and the client's benefit. While my understanding and experience of audit have increased substantially over the course of this internship, my greatest learning experience has more to do with the people. My coaches, onboarding advisors, managers, and engagement partners instilled within me the mindset of patience, fun, curiosity, and constant learning. The awesome social events and trips hosted by Deloitte created amazing friendships and connections I hope to stay in touch with through and after my time at USF!" - Kyle. 

"As an International Student, finding an internship was tough, and I am so glad to have applied and gotten accepted to such an amazingly diverse and inclusive company like Deloitte. As an Audit and Assurance intern, my day-to-day job includes completing work papers to assess a company's financial and see if the information they are submitting are reasonably free of material misstatement. Apart from that, I am also able to form bonds with my other interns through programs like Deloitte's National Intern Conference, where they flew us all to Texas, or bond with my coworkers when we chartered a yacht to cruise the bay area. At Deloitte, we work hard and play harder, and I cannot be more thankful to be here." - Anson.
