264 Miles above Earth, a crew member of the ISS, captures the Sun as its rays burst above Sharks Bay, off the coast of Western Australia.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
The space station travels 4.76 miles (7.66 km) per second, which allows the crew aboard to see 16 sunsets and sunrises in a day! Though being an astronaut isn’t all about the stellar views, the crew aboard the orbiting laboratory also conducts many science and technological experiments that benefit humanity. ⁣⁣
