To see beauty is to see light🌩️

High in the sky on September 18, 2016, the International Space Station (ISS) journeyed approximately 250 miles over thunderstorms visible in Malaysia during a nighttime pass. Here you can see the brilliant strikes of lightning flashing inside the heavy swirl of dark clouds in a majestic performance of bad temper. A Russian Soyuz spacecraft (left) and Progress spacecraft (right) are seen in the foreground. Our world is magic.

How many times hotter is lightning than our Sun?
