Like the Small Magellanic Cloud, seen here, you glow with a universe of color and you help others find their way, without even knowing it.⁣

Named after the explorer Ferdinand Magellan, this small galaxy orbits the Milky Way from 200,000 light-years away. It’s close enough that it’s visible to the unaided eye from the Southern Hemisphere. In this composite image taken by three of our space telescopes, X-rays from nasachandraxray are shown in purple; visible light from nasahubble is colored red, green and blue; and infrared observations from our Spitzer Space Telescope are represented in red. The Small Magellanic Cloud may be little, but it dazzles. You dazzle. Keep on dazzling. ⁣⁣Because you're the center of our universe.
