ICE COLD! ❄❄❄ As the largest airborne survey to map Earth’s polar ice, Operation #IceBridge captures majestic landscapes like this image of Mount Nickens, a snow-covered mesa-type mountain at the northwest of the Hudson Mountains in West Antarctica. Data collected during this mission will help scientists better understand processes that connect the polar regions with the global climate system.
