And liftoff!  #ICYMI, United Launch Alliance (ulalaunch) Atlas V rocket launched at 6:42 p.m. EST Saturday from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida carrying the NOAA (NOAA) Geostationary Operational Environmental Satellite (GOES-R). The GOES-R series will significantly improve the detection and observation of environmental phenomena that directly affect public safety, protection of property and our nation's economic health and prosperity.
