SeaShepherdsscs has been removing threats to the smallest porpoise in the world, the critically endangered vaquita. There are less than 30 #vaquita left! In addition to patrolling the area for poachers, SSCS vessels have worked tirelessly in the #Gulf of #California to remove dangerous fishing gear, that entangles, and often kills, the vaquita. Since February 2016, SSCS has retrieved more than 385 sets of illegal fishing nets.
