#Regram #RG world_wildlife: Photo by CristinaMittermeier / SeaLegacy // A King penguin surveys its breakfast—a krill rich in the protein which makes it a foundational food for all sea life, from penguin chicks to the leviathan blue whales that swim these Antarctic waters. SeaLegacy recently went on a mission to the Antarctic Peninsula to document the rapidly expanding krill fisheries and their effect on this fragile ecosystem. #SpeakForNature.

The theme for #WorldOceansDay 2017 was “Our Oceans, Our Future.” Sea_Legacy was in New York City to take part in the UnitedNations Ocean Conference.
