#Regram #RG everydayclimatechange: Photo by sean_gallagher_photo A farmer (bottom-center) walks across vast swathes of drought-stricken fields near the city of Latur in the Indian state of Maharashtra. --- It is estimated that upwards of 300 million people are being affected by the drought across India. Successive failed monsoons and decades of local water mismanagement has led to the disappearance of water in many regions. I'm here over the coming weeks documenting what's happening here as the country battles one of the worst droughts in recent history. #india #maharashtra #latur #drought #climatechange #environment #water
