#Regram #RG ngpristineseas: Shot by enricsala | Small fish swim away from their predator, the endangered Galapagos penguin - the only penguin to be found in equatorial waters. It can survive due to the cool temperatures resulting from the Humboldt Current and cool waters from great depths brought up by the Cromwell Current. These penguins have also developed thermoregulation techniques like panting and hunching forward to keep their feet out of the sun to cope with warmer weather on land. #pristineseas #galapagos #ecuador #penguin #conservation #exploration
