REACH OFFERING + DECEMBER 20

What is the REACH Offering & why do we do it? Well, we are glad you asked...

Our annual REACH Offering is a time of giving dedicated to local, national, and global missions and organizations that assist the hurting, poor and needy, as well as specific projects that further the REACH of our Church into the community. It is also a time to give sacrificially and generously in order to fight against the sin of greed that can often tempt us during this time of year.

We are and will continue to be a socially responsible church. Over the last 10 years, through our REACH offering we given $529,139 to local and global missions.

Some of the local missions that benefit from this offering are:  Golden Harvest Food Bank, Augusta Care Pregnancy Center, iCare, Augusta Rescue Mission, and Christ Community Health.

Nationally and globally, we support Samaritan’s Purse, as well as Thembalitsha Foundation in South Africa. We have partnered with Thembalitsha for 12 years, which supports multiple projects ministering to the sick, impoverished and disenfranchised adults and children of the area. Our REACH offering has singlehandedly helped fund some of these projects when they needed it the most!

On Sunday December 20th we will bring our best gift to further extend our reach for the kingdom of God, particularly in the area of missions. Through this special offering we stretch our faith yet again, obey God’s direction to give above and beyond our normal giving, and extend our faith in order to extend a “greater reach” for God’s Kingdom.
