Those near Dallas-Fort Worth can swing by Meow_Wolf for a full day of space-related activities, tarot card readings, and beers from the aptly-named Celestial Beerworks. Or head up to Hôtel Swexan’s 20th-floor rooftop pool, where you’ll be equipped with eclipse glasses, telescopes, and themed drinks.⁠

Over in San Antonio, you can start the day on a rollercoaster before joining the viewing party at Six Flags, which will be followed by a fireworks and drone show. Meanwhile, the more hardcore astro-lovers are making a whole weekend out of the event in Austin, where a four-day festival (texas_eclipse) of music, art, space, and technology will take over Reveille Peak Ranch.⁠
