FIRST in #JPAC2021 new legislative report series! Every week we are going to be highlighting a new bill or budget item supported by JPAC and signed by Governor Newsom in the 2021 CA State Legislative Session. 

First up is AB 57! This bill, sponsored by asm.jesse.gabriel, provides better protections, response and enforcement of hate crimes in California. Hate crimes have increasingly affected the Jewish community at high rates. JPAC is thrilled to have this bill now as law!
