“Winning this scholarship meant that I could graduate college with more secure footing and less debt, meaning I entered the workforce with more attention to my values, dreams, and goals in looking for work and landing a job. The scholarship provided recognition of what I had to offer to the strategic storytelling industry and gave me the freedom to explore my career fully as a young professional. I was and still am so honored to be a part of this formidable group of Washington Media Fellows, past and present. "
