The Washington Media Scholars Foundation engages with undergraduate students, connecting deserving young people with senior-level executives from major media companies and providing academic scholarships to students pursuing degrees in a variety of disciplines.

The Foundation coordinates two initiatives: Media Scholars and Media Fellows. These signature platforms fulfill the mission of creating scholarship, educational and career advancement opportunities for college students interested in strategic media. Previous scholarship recipients pursued an array of academic disciplines including Advertising, Business, Communications, and Political Science.
