There is something special about the Wahs this year. 💫🇳🇿

Bar none, the Warriors have had it the hardest of any NRL team since 2020. Having to move away from Family, Friends & the every day experiences they call home to compete in the NRL. It hasn’t been easy & results were evidence of that. 

However there has been a turning of the tide in the year of 2023.
Bringing Webster in as the Leader of the pack - coming straight from Penrith who just went Back-to-Back. 

The Signings of Te Maire Martin, Marata Niukore, Dylan Walker, Charnze & Barnett have steadied a ship - allowing for the relief of Shaun Johnson to play his best football.
Not to mention, Josh Curran, Bunty, Jazz Tevaga & Fonua-Blake are on smoke 24/7.
However, there biggest signing behind the scenes has been Kai Kara France, a UFC superstar who is dramatically improving the boys defence & wrestling. 

They currently sit from 4/5 and with some game management against the Roosters it could’ve easily been 5/5. Nonetheless, coming back from 20 points down away from home isn’t the Warriors we’ve known. This year, things seem to be clicking & belief is at the forefront. 

2018 was the last year the boys from Aotearoa made the 8. Here’s hoping half a decade later they can replicate the same plus some.
