Canada’s home to 20% of the world’s freshwater. There’s absolutely no acceptable reason Indigenous communities don’t have access to clean, safe water. • Repost from waterfirstngo

Today, we are thrilled to announce that Ryan (VanCityReynolds) and Blake (blakelively)
have made an incredible $500,000 donation to Water First! 👏🏼

This significant donation will provide resources to support the next generation of #HeroesWithoutCapes: more young Indigenous adults to become water treatment plant operators and environmental water science technicians.

Water First collaborates with Indigenous communities seeking ways to build technical capacity through locally-based skills training and education opportunities for young Indigenous adults. As well as providing hands-on, engaging, water science workshops with school-aged students.

Thank you to the awesome couple Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively for this really incredible contribution!
