Beginning tomorrow, more than 200 wounded, ill, or injured warrior athletes - representing the U.S. Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, and Special Operations Command - will compete in adaptive sports as part of the 2023 Department of Defense Warrior Games Challenge at Naval Air Station North Island.⁠

The adaptive sports include archery, track, field, swimming, rowing, shooting, powerlifting, cycling, wheelchair basketball, sitting volleyball, and wheelchair rugby.⁠

This is the first year the Warrior Games is being held in San Diego, and the events will be livestreamed and available to view at DoDWarriorGames.com. ⁠
