☀️ 🐚 🎶 The sunshine and warm weather has us dreaming of an outdoor venue … so this week, we’re highlighting The Rady Shell at Jacobs Park!

This architectural wonder on the edge of San Diego Bay and in the heart of downtown first opened last summer and was the culmination of a long-time civic desire to have a state-of-the-art concert venue that elevates the experience of live music while also serving as a public center for all of San Diego.

The Rady Shell at Jacobs Park replaces the former temporary performance and event venue at Embarcadero Marina Park South with permanent facilities, including a covered stage with 13,000 square feet of performance space and ancillary back-of-house facilities, and flexible seating with capacity ranging from 2,000 up to 10,000, including terraced seating that gives visitors unobstructed views from nearly all locations.

The project was developed in partnership with the Unified Port of San Diego with 96% of the $85 million cost raised privately by the Symphony.
