August is #NationalBlackBusinessMonth. But supporting and encouraging black-owned businesses shouldn't just happen once a year...it should happen today and every day. Black business owners account for about 10% of all U.S. businesses and about 30% of all minority-owned businesses ✊🏾✊🏿✊🏽

Our agency's President and co-owner, timmccoy2, is an #HBCU alumn who has been creatively impacting lives and businesses through #branding and #technology for 12+ years. Through his business ventures, Tim has always put his passion for helping others first along with his family and team. He has cultivated a safe space for our team to thrive, learn, express ourselves creatively and collaborate while constantly pushing us to think outside of the norm.

Our team is encouraged and inspired by Tim to listen to and share black stories, challenge the status quo and to further practice diversifying our work through brand strategy, design, and content creation.

Have we mentioned that he's the co-host of a podcast with tbone0063 and hermanwatsonreadit to show people what it's like being stuck in between #blackculture and #whiteamerica? Head over to _blackinthemiddle now to follow, subscribe, listen and #learn.

Not only has the bossman led the charge in helping brands create authentic content experiences, he is focusing his efforts and passion on helping create a more equitable tomorrow through workforce development, higher education technology and branding and building strong non-profits.

Entrepreneur, Board Member of varietychildrenscharity, Content Experience Guru, Podcaster, Leader, Husband, Father and Friend...what can't he do? 💪🏾

How will you support black-owned businesses today, and every day?

Here's a few easy ideas:

 • Write a positive review for a black business

 • Refer a black business to a friend or family member

 • Follow a black business on social media (hint: yoodlecx FB, IG, _blackinthemiddle)

 • Subscribe to a black podcast (you knew it was coming... www.blackinthemiddle.com)

 • And of course, buy something ;-)
