Today the BBQ King 👑 and “Father of Kansas City Barbecue”, Henry Perry, is finally getting the commemoration he deserves. On July 3, 1920, Perry fed 1,000 Kansas Citians for FREE at his #bbq restaurant in the Garment District. His generosity and compassion for those in need was extraordinary.

Today the kcbbqsociety will team up to provide 1,000 meals to 10 non-profits around KC in his honor.
