Men —

As you know, this Saturday our community was struck with the devastating news regarding our brother, Blake Barklage. Blake was a very active member of our community, participating on the tennis team, the Mock Trial team, giving back to our community through service at the Triest House, and was a manager for our varsity soccer team. His generosity, enthusiasm, and overall commitment to our Lasallian community will live in our hearts for a lifetime. Through these tragic times, it is important we stick together as a community. La Salle is not only a high school, it is a brotherhood that will never disappear. Therefore, it is crucial that we attend this soccer game today at 3. This is not just a game, it is about being there for the person next to you. I want to see the largest student section La Salle has ever seen. Not just for the game, but for our brother that we know cared deeply about this team. Our brother that we know had enough kindness in his heart to fill that student section. Let’s show everyone what the La Salle community is truly capable of. I consider each and every one of you to be my brothers, and as brothers, I expect you to be there when I need you most. Right now, our brother needs us more than ever, so let’s fill this student section to the brim this afternoon. Freshmen, Sophomores, Juniors, and most definitely Seniors, come show support for our community when it needs us most. I’ll see you today at Meehan Field. #forblake 🧡

lsstudentsection don’t disappoint.

Everyone wear orange 🧡

Blake is and will always be my brother, I put my trust in the hands of God now to take care of him. He was a great friend to me and I will never forget his legacy. May God bless the Barklage family at this time.
