Finns celebrated the Mid-Summer festival in June with plenty of cookouts, sauna, and more sauna. Here in the East, at Raute China and Singapore, we celebrated the Mid-Autumn Festival this time round!

Families and friends gather yearly during the Mid-Autumn Festival to share a pastry called the #mooncake. Hence, Mid-Autumn Festival is also known as the Mooncake Festival. The round shape of the pastry symbolizes completeness and reunion. Thus, sharing and eating the round mooncakes represents the wholeness and unity between loved ones.
