Wow. I can’t believe this day has arrived. I still feel like that 18 years old packing her bags ready to move to the other side of the world to start the adventure of a lifetime.. little did I know that was going to change my life forever. 

Bama, you have been everything I’ve ever dreamt of and a million times more. Being a student-athlete and having to strive everyday to represent something so much bigger than myself has taught me so much. Things I never thought I had to face. Thanks for giving me a voice, and make sure I was heard.
To my professors, academic advisors, and all the staff behind the scenes, thank you for helping me find my path as a student. Thanks to all my coaches for being my mentors and for believing in my abilities even when I was doubting myself. To my team.. words can’t describe how much you guys mean to me. Thanks for picking me up when I couldn’t, and for pushing me to be the best version of myself everyday. 

If I think back to the person I was 4 years ago I can barely recognize her. These past four years have been the most challenging, amazing, and special ones of my life. It hasn’t always been easy, but it’s been so worth it. I have grown so much since the day I stepped on campus. Not only as an athlete but mostly as a person. Thanks for making me realize I’m so much more than my sport.

Alabama, thanks for teaching me the true meaning of hard work, and for shaping me into the resilient confident person I am today. To everyone who has been part of this journey, thanks for being my family away from home. If I could go back and relieve these past 4 years I would do it in a heartbeat!!
Lucky for me.. I get to stick around one more year. Not done yet.
