How well are you engaging with your target audience?This metric is the best baseline for evaluating how well your content is working with your target audience.

So if across your posts for the week you have received 52 interactions (made up of likes, comments and saves). You divide that number by the number of impressions (let's say 956) and then times by 100, giving an engagement rate (in this example) of 5.43%. Some social media managers use follower count instead of impressions. It doesn't matter as long as you use the same factors each time to work it out. 

This percentage will dip as you gain more followers but will gradually climb again..... if you are hitting the nail on the head when it comes to content.
