Don't be put off trying yoga if you've never done a class before.  Sometimes, it takes a while to find the class and teacher that suits you.  Beginner's yoga is usually Hatha Yoga which translates to “union of the opposites through a force.” It's a powerful and transformative practice of postures (asanas), breath (pranayama), gestures (mudras), locks (bandhas), meditation sounds (nadausandhana), and cleansing process (Shat kriyas). And the postures in Hatha Yoga are good for the organs and muscles while bringing about harmony of the body, mind, and soul. ⠀
