Slow and sure wins the race! We can be more creative if we just slow down a bit. When we work at 100mph, we can’t think of new ideas because there is no space for them in our brain. 
I know this to be true. After a busy weekend sorting out my daughter's birthday - decorations, gifts, family visits, friends visits, party games, food, etc. I feel like I've not been present for the whole time.  That it's been a whirlwind of excitement but not one I've truly experienced. I've been there but not been truly present. 
Today, however, has been a more mindful day already. And I feel a much bigger sense of calm. I urge you to just stop and breathe.  Pause in the sunshine for just a moment if that's all you have. Actually smell some flowers if there's any nearby. A minute of peace for yourself won't ruin other plans. It's time to be good to yourself. A little self care goes a long way.
