An interesting outcome from my little poll yesterday. 67% said they would first try alternative therapies before approaching a doctor regarding menopausal symptoms. 🤔
Now, is that because it’s a go to choice for any conditions or is it because of a fear of HRT and a misunderstanding of its supposed side effects or is it because they don’t have faith in their doctor?  I think I can honestly say that all three are true for me but research into HRT (thanks to @menopause_doctor and @lizearleme ) has enlightened me so while I’m waiting for my clinic appointment I’m also trying the alternative route. 🧡
We have some great resources for that here in #leighonsea @cstforme , @essexacupuncture , @greenshealthfoods @clare_cushing_reflexology @therapylifecentre @dawnlisterlos  @grattan.sarah to name but a few. But also, don’t be afraid to go the allopathic route if it’s what you need. Not everything you read in the papers is true. 🔆
