Welp, I’m not sure about anyone else but my Instagram was down all day. Talk about day 2 of #SetThemBoundaries being controlled by the greater powers, eh?! 

Needless to say, the detox from Social was again welcomed. I managed to start + finish a book I just got, “Keep Going” by Austin Kleon. 

This book was 213+ pages of exactly what I needed to hear. What fresh air it felt like! I’ll definitely be spending many of the coming posts sharing takeaways from the book, and here’s my first... 

Kleon references the 1993 film, Groundhog Day, and quotes the character Phil who asks, “What would you do if you were stuck in one place, and every day was exactly the same, and nothing that you did mattered?” 

Kleon reflects, “It’s the question Phil has to answer to advance the plot of the movie, but it’s also the question we have to answer to advance the plot of our lives. I think how you answer this question is your art.” 

Incredible. For as mundane as the days may feel sometimes, that can all be changed + controlled by us. We make our day into what it is and what we want it to be to an extent. So what will your tomorrow look like? 📷
